TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Overview
Hospo (“Hospo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a hospitality operations platform operated by Lord Howe Island Pty Ltd (ACN 642 779 851).
Hospo provides software tools to assist hospitality businesses with operations, including (but not limited to) staff management, checklists, ordering, logging, and internal communication.
By accessing or using Hospo, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
Hospo is intended for use by businesses and their staff aged 18+.
By using the platform, you confirm you have authority to act on behalf of your business.
3. Accounts & Access
Access is granted following application, approval, and onboarding
Businesses operate under a shared account environment
Business administrators may:
Enable/disable features
Add/remove staff
Revoke device access
Hospo may revoke access where required for operational or security reasons
4. Use of the Service
Hospo is provided as a tool only.
You agree:
You are responsible for all data entered into the system
You are responsible for compliance with all laws (including food safety, employment, and record-keeping laws)
Hospo does not verify or validate your operational data
5. Acceptable Use
You must not:
Use Hospo for illegal purposes
Upload harmful, abusive, or misleading content
Attempt to access or interfere with the system unlawfully
Disrupt the service or other users
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. Fees & Payments
Hospo may charge:
A one-time setup fee
An ongoing monthly subscription
Payments are processed via Stripe
Beta Access
Beta access may be provided free for a limited period
After Beta, paid plans will apply
Non-Payment
A 2-week grace period applies for missed payments
Continued non-payment may result in suspension or termination
Refunds
No refunds are provided
7. Intellectual Property
Hospo retains all rights to the software and platform
Businesses retain ownership of their data
Hospo retains ownership of aggregated and anonymised analytics data
You grant Hospo a limited licence to use your data to operate and improve the service.
8. Data & Storage
Business data is stored using Google Sheets and related infrastructure
Each business operates within its own data environment
You are responsible for maintaining accuracy of your data
9. Service Availability
Hospo is provided “as is” and “as available”
We do not guarantee:
Continuous uptime
Error-free operation
Data availability at all times
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Hospo is not liable for:
Business losses
Operational disruptions
Data loss
Compliance failures
You use the service at your own risk.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for:
Misuse
Non-payment
Illegal or harmful activity
Business owners may delete their account and associated data.
Staff-level users cannot independently delete business data.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
